I began babysitting in 2019 in order to fund a project I wanted to do with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. By the time I completed my project and donated the profits to their organization, I had established wonderful relationships with the families I babysat for, leading me to babysit up until I came to Florida State University to pursue Marketing and Risk Management/Insurance. In Tallahassee, I still pursued childcare by working with kids every Sunday whilst their parents were in church service. I've worked with children ages 1 - 9 years old and am comfortable with special needs, such as ADHD.

I started babysitting in 2019, but I spent my whole life taking care of the little ones since I was the older cousin of the family. My family would always leave their children at my house since they knew I loved kids! I also volunteered at my aunt's daycare for two years and spent a lot of time working with children and gaining group experience. I have also tutored middle and elementary school students, so I have experience with most ages.

I am a current student at Florida State University pursuing a bachelor's in Elementary Education and a master's in Curriculum/Instruction. Choosing the career to teach was a calling for me, and being able to babysit is such a privilege. I worked at a summer camp and after-school program for over a year, and as a kid growing up, I volunteered for my local church's VBS and sports camps. I take pride in the fact that I know how to make kids smile and believe in themselves, and I also have a patience for them, I hope I can do the same for your family!

I also grew up dancing and helped teach young children from the time I was 12 onwards. I spent a lot of my time volunteering at my mom's school when I was in middle school and high school. She has worked as a special education teacher my whole life, so I have had plenty of experience working with children who have special needs. Currently, being a student at Florida State has furthered my love for helping nurture children further. I have just finished ASL at Florida State, and hope to continue my knowledge on the language further.
