Ms. Alessandra

Birthday: July 3rd

Hometown: Lake Worth, FL

Favorite Crayola color: Thistle

Background: I began babysitting in 2019 in order to fund a project I wanted to do with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. By the time I completed my project and donated the profits to their organization, I had established wonderful relationships with the families I babysat for, leading me to babysit up until I came to Florida State University to pursue Marketing and Risk Management/Insurance. In Tallahassee, I still pursued childcare by working with kids every Sunday whilst their parents were in church service. I've worked with children ages 1 - 9 years old and am comfortable with special needs, such as ADHD. I'm looking forward to meeting new families, as I have recently joined the program!

She’s cared for children as young as: 13 months old

Future plans: After graduating, I plan on finding a career in Sales, where I can manage client relationships over a long-term period. I do not have a strict outline of what my 5-10 years looks like, as I understand that plans do change overtime with different circumstances over the years.

When she’s not babysitting: When I am not babysitting, I usually take the time to pursue interests such as hiking, designing, and going to the gym. I have class Tuesdays and Thursdays, so normally those would be my homework and testing days as well, leaving me with time during the week to hang out with friends and explore Tallahassee for myself!

Alessandra is caring, patient, attentive and engaging. She is intelligent and has many interests that complemented our daughter’s interests too. We were instantly comfortable with her and enjoyed having her to babysit. Our daughter loved her and would ask for her to come over any chance she could.
