Background: I’ve been with Seminole Sitters since 2016 but working with children has always been a big part of my life as I started babysitting at 13, and it quickly grew into a passion.
Throughout the years, I’ve gained experience as a part-time nanny while living in New York, and as a daycare teacher, where I learned how to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for children of all ages. I also spent over a decade at the Trousdell Gymnastics Center, where I worked my way up to became the Recreation Program Supervisor. During my time there, I also taught preschool, kindergarten, and advanced gymnastics classes for children as young as 2 years old, which helped me develop patience, creativity, and a love for helping kids grow and build confidence.
What I love most about Seminole Sitters is the opportunity to support families and be someone they can count on. I take pride in being dependable, engaging, and caring, and I always aim to make sure kids feel comfortable, happy, and safe while in my care.
I have received training on how to support children and teens with ASD from the FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD).
She’s cared for children as young as: 2 months old
Future plans: Continue traveling with my husband and dogs and eventually start a family of our own.
When she's not babysitting: I can usually be found spending time with my friends and family or relaxing in the sun by the water.
Defining quote: “You’re off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so…get on your way.” - Dr. Seuss
“My baby loves Briana! Can we get her on our schedule more? I have not heard her laugh nearly as much as she does with her!”
“Briana is a gem! Despite a high-energy day of visiting family, she was able to promptly get our 4-year-old fed dinner and to bed while the adults spent a long-needed evening out. We will definitely request Briana again.”
