Background: Hi! As an oldest sister and someone who wants to work with kids for my career, I have been participating in childcare for as long as I can remember. I am a student at FSU and am double majoring in Human Development and Public Health to become a pediatric occupational therapist in the future. I spent 2 full summers (20+ weeks) working as an overnight camp counselor and have been working with kids in this way since 2021. At camp I worked primarily with 9 y/o, but have cared for/babysat all ages 6 mo- 14 y/o. In addition to working at summer camp and babysitting, I have worked in a Kindergarten classroom, volunteer with infants/babies/toddlers at church, volunteer with a local K-5 STEM program, and work with kids at a local PT/OT/ST office. I have a lot of experience with special circumstances such as: severe allergies (I have a peanut allergy myself), autism, ADHD, and diabetes. I love engaging with kids in ways they feel seen, cared for, and entertained, and look forward to meeting you!
She’s cared for children as young as: 6 months old
Future plans: I hope to get my OTD after college and become a pediatric occupational therapist!
When she's not babysitting: I love running (have done 2 half marathons), going to the beach, making crafts, playing piano, and hanging out with friends and family.
Defining quote:"Have courage and be kind." -Cinderella Movie
“She is incredibly responsible, empathetic, and patient, and she has a natural ability to connect with children. She consistently created a fun, safe, and positive environment while remaining calm and organized while working long hours. She is trustworthy, communicates well with both children and adults, and always goes above and beyond to ensure the kids feel safe, supported, and included.”
“ Isabella takes initiative and when she sees a need, she fills it. She is joyful and never complains. She works well with anyone!”
