Read MoreI began babysitting in 2019 in order to fund a project I wanted to do with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. By the time I completed my project and donated the profits to their organization, I had established wonderful relationships with the families I babysat for, leading me to babysit up until I came to Florida State University to pursue Marketing and Risk Management/Insurance. In Tallahassee, I still pursued childcare by working with kids every Sunday whilst their parents were in church service. I've worked with children ages 1 - 9 years old and am comfortable with special needs, such as ADHD.

My childcare is typically for repeat clients, yet I also enjoy working for new families. I have worked as a drama camp counselor, volunteered to watch children in my church nursery, and was a tutor at a local middle school back home. I was a personal nanny in summer 2024 and had the opportunity to travel with the family to New York City while the parent attended work meetings.
Read MoreI started babysitting in 2019, but I spent my whole life taking care of the little ones since I was the older cousin of the family. My family would always leave their children at my house since they knew I loved kids! I also volunteered at my aunt's daycare for two years and spent a lot of time working with children and gaining group experience. I have also tutored middle and elementary school students, so I have experience with most ages.
Read MoreI am a student at Florida State University and I am majoring in biology on the pre-medical track. I spent three years caring for children ages 3 months to 6 years old. I worked as an assistant teacher and was able to handle 2 children independently when they were under 2 years old, and 8 children independently when they were under 5 years old. I got my passion for babysitting from watching my mom as a teacher while I grew up!
Read MoreI joined Seminole Sitters in 2016, but have been working with kids since I was 13. I was previously a full-time nanny and part-time daycare worker. Here, in Tallahassee, I taught beginner and intermediate gymnastics to children of all ages for 7 years. I am now working full-time as the preschool/kindergarten gymnastics coordinator.

During high school I coached children ages 8 - 10 in track and cross country.

Read MoreGrowing up, I would often care for my four younger siblings. In high school I planned and taught my own preschool class of 7 students. Since that time, I have been a nanny for several different families, watching all different ages (the youngest being 3 months). One of the most fun jobs I had was watching infant twins 5 days a week until they were old enough to go to school.
Read MoreI have been babysitting young children (including those with disabilities) since 2015, and it has continued to be one of my greatest joys! I believe that every person that a child encounters has the ability to shape them, and I would love to help shape your children to be confident and optimistic!
Read MoreI have watched children from ages <1 to around 14 years old. I have watched them at home, in church settings, and in neighborhood settings. I do what I can to play with them and keep them entertained but also make sure to uphold the rules that were given to me by the parents. I have worked well into the night before, so that is never an issue. What is your personal philosophy for childcare? My personal philosophy for childcare is to connect with the child. I believe that a lot of babysitters just find that they can make easy money out of this, but I prefer to have fun with the kids that I babysit, so that it makes it a good experience for them. I want babysitting to always be an option for the parents because being a parent is exhausting. If the kids don't have a good time with the babysitter, then they likely won't want the parents to leave them with one again. My goal is to make sure everyone is happy and gets to do what they want or get a break that they deserve.
Read MoreI began nannying for a family of three at the age of thirteen. I have volunteered at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital and the Saint Joseph Hospital NICU, where I received training on the care of neonatal babies. I also worked in the three-year-old classroom at Progressive Pediatrics in Tallahassee.
Read MoreI've been working with children in a professional setting since I was 15, but I have generally been working with children and babysitting since 2018. I have worked several years as a summer camp counselor for K-5 students as well. I have experience working with children with special needs such as autism and ADHD. I love working to get to know each individual child and understanding the individual needs and unique interests of each of them. I'm able to assist with homework, as I have experience as a student assistant in elementary-level classrooms. I am also equipped to handle emergency situations, and I am certified in CPR/First Aid by the Red Cross. I love keeping kids engaged in different activities that will offer a fun environment!
