Background: I am a student at Florida State University majoring in communication sciences and disorders. I have always had a huge love for working with and being around kids. In high school, I did volunteer work at my dance studio, assisting in dance classes with kids from 4 to 13 years old. I also taught for two summers at the summer camp. In my time as a Seminole Sitter, I have babysat for little ones as young as 4 months. I love getting to know kids’ personalities and develop relationships with them. Being around kids has solidified for me that I want to work with them and help them as a career goal, which is why I hope to become a speech language pathologist for children. Being with kids is something that is so special and brings me such a unique sense of joy. I look forward to meeting many more wonderful kids and families!

Future plans: I hope to graduate from Florida State with a Bachelor’s in communication sciences and disorders and then pursue Master’s in speech language pathology. My goal is to one day specialize in children born with cleft lips and be able to help them. I believe the ability to talk and express yourself is so incredibly important and it will be such an honor to be able to give that to someone.
