Ms. Ellen (Moultrie, GA)

I joined Seminole Sitters in Tallahassee in the spring of 2014, and love to work with kids of all ages. I now live in Moultrie, Georgia, and am happy to be your sitter when you’re in the area!

Birthday: November 9th

Hometown: Cincinnati, OH

Favorite Crayola color: Sunset Orange

Background: I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and then worked at the Florida Autism Center in Jacksonville as a Registered Behavior Technician. I'm currently living in Chicago continuing my career as an RBT. I’ve been working with children for most of my life. Even in elementary school, I worked with special needs children in a club called Play Pals. I’ve babysat for friends, neighbors, and family since middle school and throughout high school. In college, I taught children’s Taekwondo classes (I have a third degree black belt myself!) while also babysitting through Seminole Sitters. I’ve worked with babies who were only a few weeks old and children up to age 14. I love showing kids fun ways to stay active and engaged!

I have experience caring for children with special needs, including those with autism (verbal and nonverbal), dietary/allergy restrictions, and Down Syndrome.

She’s worked with children as young as: 3 weeks old

Future plans: I’d love to go back to school to earn a Master’s in Behavior Analysis. I’m also looking forward to starting a family of my own someday!

When she's not babysitting: I love to exercise and I continue to practice martial arts. I also enjoy yoga, video games, going to the beach, experimenting with cooking and baking, and spending time with my family and friends.
