Background: I am a student at Florida State University and am seeking a degree in Psychology. I have been babysitting since I was 15 and have experience with kids of all ages. In addition to babysitting, I have worked and volunteered at multiple summer camps, which have helped me develop skills in communication, patience, creativity, responsibility, and keeping kids engaged in fun and age-appropriate activities. I have also had the opportunity to work alongside an occupational therapist, which gave me valuable experience learning about child development and different ways to support children’s individual needs.
I have always loved working with kids and see it as much more than just a job. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each child, creating a fun and comfortable environment, and being someone both children and parents can trust and feel comfortable with. I am responsible, caring, energetic, and always strive to make sure the kids I care for feel safe, supported, and have fun!
On her own, she’s cared for children as young as: 8 months old
Future plans: I will be graduating this spring with my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and hope to continue my education by pursuing a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. From there, I would love to build a career working with children and continue making a positive impact in their lives. On a personal level, I hope to continue growing, traveling, spending time with the people I love, and eventually starting a family of my own.
When she’s not babysitting: n my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and working out. I am also a member of Sigma Delta Tau and serve on the Executive Board of the Colombian Student Association, which has given me the opportunity to become more involved on campus and connect with others. I love to try new things and am trying to explore all of Tallahassee before graduating!
