Ms. Hal
/Birthday: June 15th
Hometown: Altamonte Springs, FL
Favorite Crayola color: Tropical Rain Forest
Background: As an older sibling, I took care of my sister on days when my parents weren't home since I was able to make myself and my sister food (around 11 years old). From there, I have consistently been around kids, either through babysitting, or by working in places with lots of kids (Michaels Craft Store, performance jobs like acting in musicals or being themed characters). I am also studying Communications and Creative Writing at FSU with the intention of going into children's-based media such as PBS Kids. I pride myself on making sure kids are cared for and always attended to, as well as encouraging their interests, creativity, and curiosity. I love to read and draw and solve puzzles.
I’ve cared for children as young as: 3 years old
Future plans: I hope to one day make either a book series or TV show similar to those like The Owl House, Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, or My Little Pony; shows for kids to old for the baby programs, but not quite ready for PG-13 or higher TV. I already have a few ideas! I hope to continue performing, learning, watch movies and explore the world.
When I’m not babysitting: Writing, reading, sketching, acting! If I'm not at home working on my next writing project or finishing homework for college, I will likely be in rehearsal for theater or a cappella performances. If you've ever been to a White Mouse Productions show at FSU, I was likely there! I also love to go to the movies, as I have AMC a-list and a love for all things movies and media. I also occasionally play D&D, hang out at one of the many bookstores around FSU, or talk a walk just before sunset.

“I own a children’s entertainment company and I have employed Hal for two years to interact with children. Hal is GREAT with children and is so sweet. I’ve observed her working with kids ages 1-17.
Hal is an energetic, caring, and fun to be around. She is always on time and really enjoys bringing smiles to kids of all ages. I’ve employed Hal to be a character actor on multiple occasions for kids parties and family friendly events.
Hal is young and is learning but her work ethic is top tier. Once you provide clear instructions, she is very good at following. ”
“Hal babysat my son. She’s very animated and fun and able to work with any age. She’s very smart and would be able to assist with homework as well. She made me feel comfortable leaving my son in her care. Responsible and timely. I saw her working with ages 5-12.
Hal is one of the most outgoing, carefree, energetic people I know. She has the personality to make babysitting any age fun for them along with being reliable trustworthy and mature enough to handle any situation that may arise. She’s very smart, timely, and has a lot of experience working with children due to her younger sister and her friends. Her fun loving personality and maturity would make her the ideal candidate for any position.”
“I was Hal’s trainer (and later her manager) when we worked at Michaels. I saw her hosting children’s craft events, an also playing/helping with my daughter. My daughter was one, and the children at the craft events were usually aged three and up.
She has always been a hard worker, as well as kind and understanding with children of all ages. Since I have known her she has always expressed interest in volunteering and working with children. ”
