I am studying Human Development and Family Sciences and on the Pre-Med track. I have worked with kids in various settings since I was around 11 years old. From babysitting, working in a school, shadowing a pediatrician, and volunteering at a hospital and summer camp program I have had the full range of experience when it comes to childcare. My passion for working with children comes from getting to know each one's personality and hearing about everything they have to say. I have had a lot of experience with children with allergies, certain health issues, or special needs as well as in group settings.

I began babysitting in eighth grade and have grown up surrounded by children through my extensive experience in dance studios. Much of my work with kids has been with ages 3-10, including teaching and assisting at dance summer camps, where I focused on creativity, structure, and engagement in a fun learning environment. I am CPR and First Aid certified and prioritize safety, responsibility, and clear communication in every childcare setting. I enjoy bringing energy, organization, and a creative approach to keeping kids active, supported, and entertained.

I am an elementary education major at FSU! My first job in childcare was at the YMCA summer camp and after school care in 2023. I also started babysitting independently at that time. This summer I had the opportunity to go to Arkansas for the first time and work at Camp Ozark in the mountains! I have experience working with special needs children at the summer camps I’ve worked at as well as growing up with a younger brother who has autism. These experiences have taught me how to be empathetic, patient, and kind while meeting the individual needs of each child. I love serving in my church’s children’s ministry and recently went on a mission trip to Costa Rica to teach children about the gospel!

I started babysitting with my older sister at age 12, which sparked my interest in working with kids. I started babysitting on my own at age 16 and jumped right into sitting for two different families that both had two sons under 4. I volunteer in my church's childcare program in different rooms, varying from infant to Pre-K.

I have been caring for kids for as long as I can remember, starting with family and family friends. I have babysat children as young as 5 weeks old and up to 18 years old. In eighth grade, I began volunteering at an inclusive summer camp that I attended when I was younger. There, I mentored all age groups and ensured their safety during camp activities. I eventually became a staff member, working with adults during the school year and taking children out on the water during the weekends. I have experience working with various disabilities, both physical and mental.
