Background: I have worked as a babysitter, camp counselor, and youth cheerleading coach. I am currently a student at Florida State University, majoring in criminology, while also pursuing my Registered Behavior Technician certification. Since 2021, I have served as a camp counselor, where I have had the opportunity to work with children with autism and Type 1 diabetes. I truly love working with children of all backgrounds and supporting them by meeting their unique needs in every way I can. Working with children is something I deeply cherish, as their innocence and energy always bring so much brightness to my life!
On my own, I’ve cared for children as young as: 2 months old
Future plans: Once I graduate from FSU in 2026, I plan on hopefully working with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and I plan on attaining my masters in forensic psychology during my first year within the department. I also do plan on working in the Orlando office, so I am able to go to Disney World every weekend! Later, I would like to apply to the FBI, and I plan on becoming a field agent. While, in the FBI, I would like to get my PHD and become a forensic psychologist.
When I'm not babysitting: I love taking pictures. I love writing. I also love going to Disney World and just planning vacations in general. I really love, love going to the beach and shelling (collecting beautiful seashells). Lastly, I love, love eating fast food, especially McDonalds.
Defining quote: "Standing here, it's oh so clear, I'm where I'm meant to be.” — Rapunzel from Tangled
“Leah is kind, fun, energetic, and super reliable. She always had my kids engaged in a game or arts and crafts project. Both my son and daughter loved her. She also helped with homework after school. My daughter has special medical needs and Leah was always on top of things.”
“Leah was always so energetic and always gave her best with my children. She would let kids do her makeup and her hair, and she was always creating fun ways for my daughter to play with her. She was so caring and it was so nice to see another person learn to love my child. She was amazing at cleaning and keeping my child’s hygiene up!”
