/Junior Sitters are exceptional high school students with a driver’s license and babysitting experience. They have been vetted and certified like the older sitters, and have also been certified through a “Better Babysitting” course. You can book them at a $2/hr discount as our thanks for providing them an opportunity to gain more child care experience.

Background: I have been watching kids since 2021. It started with a friend's younger sister, babysitting her when their mom went shopping. I have also been around my family and supervised children under 3 years of age, as a mother's helper. Additionally, I was a counselor-in-training at my school for a summer where I worked with all groups from rising Kindergarteners to rising 6th graders. I have had the opportunity to work with children of diverse needs and backgrounds, organizing activities and helping with meals. My goal in life is to become a special education teacher for all grades. I am adept at managing several kids at one time and can meet the needs of all children in my care.
I have received training on how to support children and teens with ASD from the FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD).

Future plans: I hope to be taking classes and working toward my special education degree. I graduate high school in 2026.
When she's not babysitting: I am a part of my high school theater group and perform in our school's spring musical. I am president of a community service club at school as well.
