Ms. Jadah

I can work occasionally, but not regularly, in homes with one cat as long as I'm made aware ahead of time.

Birthday: September 6th

Hometown: Spring Hill, FL

Favorite Crayola color: Denim blue

Background: I have been involved with childcare since 2018. I began this journey working as a part-time teacher in daycares; as I moved to college, I had the opportunity to be an assistant director at a preschool back in my hometown. Through these experiences, I have worked with children aged from 6 months to 5 years old. I have worked at a few summer camps and after-school programs, as well as volunteered in daycare settings in the Tallahassee area, where I began to work with children aged from 4 years old to 12 years old. My most recent experience with children was as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), where I was able to provide more individualized care for children who were 7-10 years old with developmental disabilities and behavioral issues. I have worked with children in school and home settings and have been able to build a great rapport with the families I have worked with. I can confidently say that every child I have worked with holds a special place in my heart and has built a huge passion for working with children and families. My duty when working with children is to ensure that all children are provided with a safe, protected, and fun environment when under my care. Overall, I have had several experiences working with children in group and individualized settings, all ranging from the ages of 6 months to 12 years old. I believe that all children in my care have made an impact on me, and I can only hope to make a positive impact on them!

I have received training on how to support children and teens with ASD from the FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD).

She’s cared for children as young as: 6 months old

Future plans: I am currently finishing up my first year in the Master of Social Work program at Florida State University, and will hopefully become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker after graduating in the Spring of 2025. My goal is to hopefully work in a private practice setting with children and families with trauma-related issues. Along with this, I would love to further my journey of advocating and educating the community around me.

When she's not babysitting: I enjoy spending time with friends and family, working out, reading books, and providing service to the community.

She was a Registered Behavior Technician. I was the BCBA who provided her oversight. She worked in home and school environments with students with Autism and other related disabilities. Jadah is reliable and very precise. She took excellent data, and worked well with children with disabilities. She is effective and efficient and went above and beyond.

Jadah was a very patient and kind camp counselor to our students. We primarily placed Jadah with our students with special needs due to her skillset. Jadah was very responsible and provided a very safe environment for these students while on off-campus field trips.
