Background: I am a student at Florida State University pursuing a major in Psychology. I have been babysitting since the age of 14 and have many years of experience caring for children of all ages, ranging from infants to 12 years old. Babysitting has always been more than just a job to me it is something I genuinely love and take great pride in.
I am a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), which has provided me with extensive hands-on experience working with children with autism and supporting a wide variety of behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs. I am patient, attentive, and adaptable, and I always strive to meet each child where they are while creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
In addition to babysitting, I have worked as a summer camp counselor, a lifeguard for a children’s floating obstacle course, and an aftercare teacher at a preschool during high school. These roles have strengthened my ability to manage groups of children, maintain structure, handle safety-focused situations, and create fun, engaging activities while still following routines and rules.
I am comfortable helping with anything a family may need, including meal preparation, bedtime routines, diaper changes, homework help, school pick-ups, light housekeeping related to childcare, and engaging children in age-appropriate activities such as crafts, games, reading, and outdoor play. I always aim to keep children happy, safe, and entertained while also ensuring parents feel confident and at ease when they are away.
I have been CPR and First Aid certified multiple times and have consistently kept my certifications up to date since I was 14. Safety is always my top priority, and I take my responsibility as a caregiver very seriously. I truly love children and find so much joy in watching them grow, learn, and develop their own personalities. I am here to support families in any way I can and would love the opportunity to care for your children.
On her own, she’s cared for children as young as: 3 months old
Future plans: My future plans include attending graduate school next year to study Applied Behavior Analysis. I aspire to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and am passionate about providing meaningful, evidence-based therapy to children with autism. Beyond my career goals, I look forward to building my own family and creating a loving place to call home!
When she’s not babysitting: In my free time, I enjoy playing pickleball, spending time with friends, going on long walks, and reading. I am also an active member of Sigma Delta Tau, where I serve as the COB Coordinator, a role I truly enjoy and find very rewarding.
Defining quote: "Be a pineapple: Stand tall, wear a crown, and be sweet on the inside.” — Katherine Gaskin
“Regan is very warm and friendly with children. She addresses them with questions that make them open up and talk to her. You can tell from the smile on her face that she enjoys interacting with young children. Regan is responsible and trustworthy. She always leaves my home neat and orderly when she babysits. My girls rave about how much fun they have when she babysits them and look forward to her visits. She manages their personalities well by negotiating and problem-solving their disagreements with ease.”
“Regan is truly one of those people who just ‘clicks’ with kids. You can see it the second she walks into a room — their faces light up, and they immediately feel comfortable around her.
What I appreciate most about Regan is the way she balances kindness, patience, and genuine enthusiasm. She doesn’t just keep kids busy; she connects with them. She listens, pays attention to what they need, and meets them with empathy and understanding. Whether she’s calming down a nervous child, getting everyone involved in a game, or helping someone work through a tough moment, she does it all with a calm, steady presence.
Regan is also incredibly responsible and thoughtful. She always comes prepared, communicates clearly, and takes her role seriously while still making everything fun. She has a natural ability to make kids feel safe, included, and excited to be around her — which is exactly what you want in someone caring for children.
Regan is dependable, caring, creative, and genuinely wonderful with kids.”
