Background: I've been taking care of kids for as long as I can remember. At first, just small jobs for friends and families. Then in 2022, I began volunteering at summer camps where I obtained more hands-on experience in working with large amounts of children. Furthermore, this summer I worked as a teaching assistant at a daycare in Miami. There, I gained experience in working with children of all age groups (infants - pre-teens). It was at this daycare in which I provided care for kids with Autism, behavioral problems, severe ADHD, etc.
I also have a sister who is only three years old, so I gained experience from watching her while still in high school, to allow my parents time for work and leisure time. In addition, I have experience in volunteering at hospitals, as well as participating in ride-alongs with EMTs; such experiences have allowed me to be able to remain calm and collected under stressful situations. Further, I enjoy baking and finding new recipes in order to be able to meet most dietary restrictions.
On my own, I’ve cared for children as young as: 2 months old
Future plans: I am currently studying at FSU, majoring in Biology on the pre-med track. I will be applying to med school in the next couple of years, and the dream is to become either a surgical child oncologist, a pediatrician, or an OB/GYN. Another main goal of mine is to adopt a puppy as soon as possible!
When I'm not babysitting: I love to read all kinds of books, primarily fantasy, as well as watching all kinds of movies and TV shows. I also enjoy listening to music, volunteering at animal shelters, and trying out different coffee spots.

The children themselves also seemed to be drawn to her kind and relaxing atmosphere. She was also very organized and followed the directions provided to her by me and the parents while taking care of the kids, making sure that food, diapers, and/or drinking containers did not get mixed up. She also showed an excellent level of remaining calm when a child cried or refused to sleep, allowing for conflicts to be resolved quickly. Overall, I enjoyed working with her and believe she would make an amazing fit here as well. ”
