Ms. Jailyn

Birthday: September 9th

Hometown: Bainbridge, GA

Favorite Crayola color: Wild Watermelon

Background: I started babysitting in 2015. I’ve always known that I want to work with children, which made it hard to decide which field I want to pursue with children. The love of the infant and toddler stages of life brought me to pursue a career in the Doula industry. I have years of experience with building sensory skills, potty training, as well as educational learning.

I have also with special needs children with a tracheostomy tube, missing limbs, Down syndrome as well as autism. I have received training on how to support children and teens with ASD from the FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD).

On her own, she’s cared for children as young as: 6 weeks old

Future plans: In the next 5-10 years, I see myself certified as a massage therapist, esthetician, doula, and nurse midwife. I would like the opportunity to make future mothers and families prepared and relaxed to welcome their bundles of joy!

When I'm not babysitting: When I’m not babysitting, I am listening to music and painting. I enjoy doing activities that encourages me to explore my creativity.

Defining quote: “Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.” — Winston Churchill
