Favorite Crayola color: Blue

Background: My childcare experience started when I was 14 and have been doing it ever since. I cared for the children at my church (ages 0 - 5 years) in the nursery. I’ve worked with children at a Montessori school (ages 3 - 10 years), this was a great experience on the different learning styles for children at an early age. While working at the school, we were taught how to avoid cross contamination and use an Epi-pen. Also I have experience working with those with special needs. I worked at the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind with visually impaired and disabled individuals, where I learned to truly care and protect children that need more aid. Some children had autism. Most of my childcare experience has been in a school setting for aftercare and summer camp but I have also done at-home babysitting. I have babysat newborns, infants, and toddlers on various occasions. I followed every instruction the parents left for their children. I like to plan activities with them to keep them busy.

On her own, she’s cared for children as young as: 1 week old

Future plans: Start an internship involving intelligence analysis then graduate with my bachelors in political science and minor in international relations and attend graduate to further my career.

When she’s not babysitting: I enjoy hanging out with friends and/or family.

Defining quote: “It is only when we take chances, when our lives improve. The initial and the most difficult risk that we need to take is to become honest.” — Walter Anderson

You can see that Stacy truly cares. She’s patient, understanding, responsible, and reliable. I’ve never had an issue with punctuality and she was always very flexible. She is a hardworking young woman who is great with kids.
