I began babysitting for various families when I was in high school and continued by spending the summer building a school for children in Belize. I also spent a few summers working as a camp counselor for kids ages 6-14 where I was able to foster an environment of creativity, physical activity, and numerous academic activities. Being a sitter provides me the opportunity to make a positive impact on a child, even if it is just for a few hours!

Background: I was a part time many (15 hour/week) for a child from the age of 6 months to 1 year. I also have a lot of experience babysitting infants, from as young as three months, during the day as well as at night. I worked for a babysitting agency in Tampa for three years (averaging about 15-25 hours/week). During this time I babysat children from the age of 3 months to 11 years. I also worked as a summer camp counselor for 3-4 year olds for two summers. I enjoy building strong relationships with the children I work with as well as the parents. My main goal is to make the children feel as comfortable as possible while being away from their parents. I also think it is very important for the parents of these children to feel confident that their children are in safe hands while they are with me.
