Background: I've spent my whole life around children as a regular nanny, babysitter, swim coach, lifeguard, big sister, aunt and friend! I'm a current TCC student studying psychology and child development and hope to, in the future, continue to work with children! Since I was 13 years old I've been babysitting for families when needed. I regularly nannied for a family with 2 boys (5 and 6) for a year and have recently watched a now 2yo old since birth. I've been a lifeguard for 3 years and have taught swim lessons to children at 3 years of age until those who are adults. I aim to provide a fun, educational, and most importantly, safe environment! I have experience with newborns: making bottles with formula, changing diapers, bathing, and feeding them, too. I have experience in helping with homework and creating fun and safe activities for younger and older children as well!
I have experience caring for children with special needs, including those with autism, cerebral palsy, a hearing deficiency, and genetic disorders.
I am a certified swim instructor; if you have a pool at your home or in your neighborhood, I would be happy to help your kids improve their swimming!
Future plans: My future plans are to, hopefully, be a psychologist or counselor to small children ranging to teens and young adults. I also hope to do more research on the development of children and what our brains look like and do while we develop! I want to travel, start a family and live a life full of faith and happiness!
When she's not babysitting: I'm either pool side, at school, or with friends!
Defining quotation: "Before you speak, let your words pass through three gates. At the first gate ask yourself, 'Is it true?' At the second ask, 'Is it necessary?' At the third gate ask, 'Is it kind?'" - Unknown
