Birthday: August 24th

Hometown: Bradenton, FL

Background: I moved to Tallahassee in the Fall of 2016 as a Junior at Florida State University. I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Sciences with a double minor in Criminology and Science. After I complete that degree I will be getting a second Bachelor’s in Nursing then pursue my Doctorates degree to eventually go into Pediatrics. Since 2007, I have had lots of experience with children between babysitting and working in two daycares. At the first daycare, I was a floater which means going into each room to help when needed such as subbing when a teacher is absent or stepping in for lunch breaks and so forth. After gaining more experience, I moved on to another daycare where I was a one-year-old teacher, but decided to go back to school after a year. I did Girl Scouts and a parents' night out twice a month for about two years as well. I love being outdoors running around and being active as I believe that is a very important activity for children to engage in. I also love Pinterest crafts! I think that having arts and crafts expand a child’s mind and creativity.

I have experience caring for children with special needs, including those with autism and Down syndrome.

She’s cared for children as young as: 2 months old

Future plans: After graduating FSU with my Doctoral degree in Pediatrics, I hope to open my own family practice. I want to be able to grow with the children I treat and be involved with their lives as well as be able to watch them grow and form relationships that you cannot achieve when you work in a hospital environment.

When she’s not babysitting: I like exploring Tallahassee and surrounding areas of springs, lakes, and parks to hike and explore at! Also, when I go back home, I enjoy going to the beach and being on the boat fishing.

She’s been amazing - would love to have her again!
