Background: Being the second oldest out of fifteen grandchildren has allowed me to
really grasp what it means to be a role model. My love for children began at the age
of 8 when my first cousin was born – ever since then I have enjoyed teaching,
guiding, and playing with kids. I volunteered as a Sunday school teacher at my
church and have also worked as a nanny for children ranging in ages 6 months to 12
years old. I have transported kids to and from school, prepared a variety of meals,
helped with their homework and enjoyed practicing their hobbies/activities with
them. Through my experiences, I have enjoyed being able to teach kids many lessons,
yet I am always amazed at how much they teach me!

Future Plans: I am currently a Sophmore at Florida State University majoring in
Communication Science and Disorders. I plan on receiving a minor in Family Child
Sciences and Psychology. My ultimate goal is to become a speech pathologist for

When she's am not babysitting: I love to be outdoors! I commonly find myself going on a
run or taking my homework outside just to get some fresh air. I also love to be on
the boat or at the beach with my family and friends. I enjoy reading, watching
Netflix, and exploring Pinterest. However, my favorite thing to do by far is travel –
and I hope to do more of that someday!
