Background: I am double majoring in Biology and Psychology at Florida State University. I started babysitting as a ‘mother’s helper’ at the age of eight with my two younger sisters, and began professionally during my junior year of high school. I have experience changing diapers and bottle feeding infants, and also have certification with the DCF 40-hour training program. During my senior year, I worked in a group setting at an after school program as a counselor with kids age ranging from 5 to 13 years old. My favorite activities were freeze dance, arts & crafts, volleyball, dodgeball, and outside games!
I have experience caring for children with special needs, including those with autism, dietary restrictions, and who are nonverbal.
Future plans: After graduation, I plan on attending medical school, with an ultimate career goal as a neurosurgeon.
When she's not babysitting: I am often studying by my pool, taking spontaneous trips with friends, or playing my guitar.
