Background: I am a skilled childcare provider with experience since 2011. I cared for newborns and infants in the nursery at my church on Sunday mornings and planned educational and recreational activities for children ages 4 - 13 during Vacation Bible School. Through the church, I also volunteered with Nathaniel's Hope - an organization dedicated to serving children with special needs and disabilities of all kinds. In high school, my love for children extended outside the church when families from all walks of life entrusted me with their kiddos as both a babysitter and a tutor. I have worked with children who have behavioral issues, ADD/ADHD, autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other specialized needs like food allergies. I am dedicated to enriching the lives of children through play and learning so that they may develop healthy relationships with their parents, peers, and the world around them.
She’s cared for children as young as: 2 months old
Future plans: I am currently pursuing an English degree at Florida State University. I hope to double major in Communications with a minor in Visual Design by next semester. I don’t know where God might lead me after graduation, but I DO know that I have a passion for people. With that, I can do just about anything!
When she’s not babysitting: I am working on starting up my own photography business so be on the lookout! I took up interest in high school and after some practice, I bought my own camera. Soon enough, I began booking sessions for family holiday cards and graduating seniors. I like working with my hands and photography is one of those things that satisfies my creative “fix”. Apart from that, I enjoy reading, the beach and making longboards with my Dad when I’m home.
