Background: I currently am a student at Florida State University pursuing my master’s in social work. I received my certification in Early Childhood Education and was certified by DCF in 2014. Ever since then I have worked with children in various spaces and age ranges from summer camps, babysitting, to preschool settings. Before relocating to Tallahassee, I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. With my time in Gainesville, I worked at the Baby Gator Child Development and Research Center Facility for two years as a teacher, assisted elementary children in doing their homework at the local community center, and mentored high school girls.
I have cared for children with Down’s Syndrome and Autism, as well as, those who have special dietary restrictions and allergies.
She’s cared for children as young as: 2 months
Future plans: Upon receiving my master’s in clinical social work I plan to work with children in the Criminal Justice System.
When she’s not babysitting: When I am not indulging my love for crime television shows I love enjoying quiet time with a good book and planning traveling adventures.
