Background: I am a student at Florida State University studying Communication Science and Disorders. I have a minor in Psychology and have earned the Interdepartmental Developmental Disabilities Certificate. This past summer I completed internship work at Progressive Pediatrics. There I worked with toddlers with language delays. In addition, children with Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, and learning and intellectual disabilities. I am also employed with The School of Arts and Sciences at the Centre as a staff member in the Extended Day Program. There, my experience is with school aged children (K-5).
Future plans: After I graduate, I will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
When she’s not babysitting: I enjoy hiking, camping, cooking and spending time with my dog.
