Background: I have been babysitting for many years, since the age of thirteen! I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to watch one family of siblings for 7 years and also another boy for 6 years and counting. I have worked with children from the ages of 1 to 13 years old. I currently am enrolled in the Elementary Education program at Florida State University and have helped teach 2nd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. I have earned a minor in Child Development from Florida State University as well. I also volunteer as a camp counselor for an organization called Camp Kesem which provides a week of sleep-away summer camp for children who have been affected by a parent’s cancer. I am comfortable working with children of all ages. I also have experience with food allergies. Because of my teaching experience, I am more than happy to help students with homework. I enjoy baking, crafting, and coming up with fun games to play outside as I am a big fan of sports.
Future Plans: After graduating, I plan to further my education and receive a Master’s degree in Education Administration/Leadership to help facilitate my career goals of becoming an elementary school principal.
When she’s not babysitting: When I am not babysitting, I enjoy reading, baking, crafting, and adventuring outdoors.
