Ms. Tori

Birthday: June 12

Hometown: Clearwater, FL (originally from Ohio)

Favorite Crayola color: Seafoam green

Background: I am a Kindergarten teacher at a private school in Palm Harbor. Last year I worked with a special needs student one-on-one as his aide in the classroom. I still assist the special needs students in my class, as well as in the first-grade classroom and third grade. I have been babysitting since I was about 13! And before that, helped take care of my baby brother and younger sister from the age of 10. I've worked in two daycares and volunteer every week in my church's children's ministry (mostly the Nursery). I am also a youth leader for middle school and high school! I have experience from infancy to the age of 18.

Future plans: I plan to take a full-time position where I am currently employed part-time (BLDG28 church in Clearwater) as the Ministry Assistant. I oversee the Local Outreach Ministry, which allows our church to pour into the community through the local foster cares, teen safe homes, pregnancy centers, police departments and anti-trafficking organizations.

When she's not babysitting: I am teaching or working/volunteering at my wonderful church! I also love to hang out with friends. You can often find me at the Dunedin Public Library reading. I love to read!

Defining quotation: "The people who are trying to make this world worse aren't taking a day off, why should I? Light up the darkness." A Bob Marley quote I try to apply to my faith and the way I show love of Christ everyday!
