Ever since I became an aunt at the age of seven I’ve loved being around children. I started volunteering with my church nursery, Vacation Bible School, and yearly mission trips to the inner city children’s program. By the time I was 16 I had already been babysitting and volunteering for years so I got a job at the local rec center working their summer day camps. I enjoy being creative, teaching and being a role model for every child I’m around. Since then I’ve worked with multiple families through nannying, babysitting and learning centers.

With a big extended family, I was the oldest cousin and was responsible for looking after the rest, especially my young cousin diagnosed with autism. My older sisters also had young children as I was growing up, so I had spent plenty of time around babies and toddlers. As I got older, I worked with children between the ages of 3 to 9 at the YMCA summer camp in my hometown.

I started babysitting my neighbor's children during summers when I was in high school. I found Seminole Sitters my freshman year in college and I've been able to grow my experience in childcare. I've always enjoyed working in church nurseries and daycares and quickly earned my DCF credentials so I could become a lead Spanish teacher for grades K-2 at a local afterschool program.

I am the oldest of 6 children. I started babysitting for family friends when I was just 12 years old. During my middle and high school years, I started babysitting after school and the weekends. I have a great amount of experience babysitting children ranging from 3 months to about 13 years old. Growing up and taking care of siblings made me really understand my passion, how much I appreciated children, and loved to see them grow into intelligent little individuals.
