Birthday: April 9
Hometown: Bradenton, FL and Miami, FL
Favorite Crayola color: Vivid Violet
Background: I am currently attending Florida State University for my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Minor in Child Development and Spanish. My love for taking care of children sparked at the age of 12 with the birth of my younger sister, and then the birth of my younger brother the following year. Since then, I’ve babysat for various neighbors and families, tutored elementary school students, volunteered at several summer camps, and worked at a local kids’ fun and fitness center, which catered to children aged 6 months to 6 years.
Future plans: I have a passion for helping children flourish and learn about the world around them. I want to work in the field of child development, helping children work through any kind of developmental blocks they may be experiencing. I am in the process of working my way into medical school to one day be a certified Child Psychiatrist.
When she's not babysitting: I enjoy spending time with my friends and family whether it be through sitting, talking, and laughing in the living room, going out to a restaurant and having a nice meal, or going somewhere fun around town. I love watching the Food Network Channel and then trying out new recipes in the kitchen. Traveling is something that is important to me because I find it exciting to experience parts of the world that are otherwise only known through the books we read, the movies we watch, and the stories we hear.
