Background: I am currently a student at Florida State University studying Exercise Science. I am also a youth soccer coach and absolutely love it. To watch the children improve and seeing their confidence in themselves and their teammates build up throughout the season is amazing. I am from a large family and love and miss being around all my siblings and cousins. I have been babysitting for over nine years and often catered to "larger" families with 4+ children. I have worked with various ages of children, from newborns to age 12.
I have clinical experience with special needs children from a Physical Therapy / Occupational Therapy setting. I have worked with those who have autism, cerebral palsy, Microcephaly, as well as numerous other cognitive, physical, and motor skills delays.
Future plans: After graduating from FSU, I plan to earn a dual degree in Physical and Occupation Therapy. I would love to work with injured veterans as well as military families and pediatrics. To watch a child take their first step, when all other doctors said it wasn't possible, is truly life changing.
When she's not babysitting: I am most likely studying! I take my academics very seriously and always strive to do my best! I also play intramural flag football and soccer at FSU; it is a great way to get some exercise and spend time with friends! I love experimenting in the kitchen; I do make some fantastic Blackened Chicken and an even better Peanut Butter Mousse Oreo Pie.
