Background: I am studying Family and Child Science at Florida State University. My first job at 16 was in a nursery at World Gym. I got to work with many children ranging from 6 months to 12 years old. During my high school years I babysat for Jessica and Robert. When I first met them, I was feeding Robert baby food and now he is in elementary school! I was able to travel with the family on a cruise and all the way to Las Vegas. I love visiting them when I have time to visit my hometown. During the school year I am part of the Youth Mentor program at Pineview Elementary, and during the summer I work at a summer camp.

Future plans: I plan on becoming a first grade teacher. My mom tells everyone I said I wanted to be a teacher as soon as I was old enough to talk. First grade is such an important year, especially when it comes to learning how to read. I love touching the lives of children.

When she's not babysitting: I love to spend time with my friends, especially my sister Casey and best friend Abbie (she is also a Seminole Sitter). Having a girl movie and dinner night is what gets me through the tough times. I love being in the water and out in the sun. I find myself planning weekend getaways to surrounding areas of Tallahassee to find sink holes, rivers, and lakes. I love to play games on the Wii and express my positive and energetic personality.
