Meet the Sitters

Our babysitters have varying availabilities and specialized skills, and there's certainly one on our staff that would be a perfect fit for your family. If you have a need but are unsure if we'd be able to assist you, just ask!

Every sitter on our staff is currently First Aid and CPR certified, including for infants and children. A few have additional experience that may benefit your family:

Cloth Diapering

I've provided care for children who wore cloth diapers.

Corporate / Group Care

I've watched unrelated children at an event (i.e. wedding, party) or corporate location (i.e. gym, business conference), and know how to keep larger groups engaged and entertained! (Note: One sitter can watch up to six children, or up to four children if there's a child under 12 months old present.)

Good Samaritan

I have a giver's heart. I have joined Seminole Sitters in volunteering or other charitable efforts.

Multiples

Twins? Triplets? More to love! I've worked with multiples previously.

Ms. Mary I founded Seminole Sitters in 2007, in response to the local need for reliable childcare. I still love babysitting, and meeting new families.	Ms. Alex I am working towards my degree in Family and Child Sciences and a minor in Psychology at Florida State University.
Ms. Amanda P. I am joining the staff in late January 2012; check back later for more information!	Ms. Ashley P. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old, caring for children aged 6 months through 11 years.
Ms. Ashley R. I emphasize the importance of having role models and positive people around children.	Ms. Beth I joined the Seminole Sitters team in April 2008, and am back for a short time! I'm preparing to start my nursing career, eventually becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner and specializing in oncology or cardiology.
Ms. Breanne I hope to become a physical therapist specializing in inpatient or special needs pediatrics. I want to give children the opportunity to go through life without physical disabilities.	Ms. Cait I have a Bachelors in Social Work, and am currently working towards my Masters in Social Work. I love working with children, and have worked in many different childcare settings since 2004.
Ms. Camille I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old, starting with the families in my own neighborhood.	Ms. Chelsea I have a Bachelors in Social Work, and am currently working towards my Masters in Social Work. I love working with children, and have worked in many different childcare settings since 2004.
Ms. Christina V. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Clinical Social Work at Florida State University.	Ms. Fatima I am a mother who returned to school to finish a Bachelor’s degree in Education, studying at Florida State for Math for Secondary School Teaching. I'm multilingual.
Ms. Fiona I have worked with infants and toddlers in a daycare setting as a volunteer at the Dick Howser Center.	Ms. Ilona I'm currently seeking my Master's in Elementary Education, and childhood nutrition is important to me.
Ms. Jenna P. I am currently a psychology major focusing on child development. Working with children has been a passion for me since I was a young teenager. I love knowing that I could make a difference in a child’s life.	Ms. Jenny S. I am currently a psychology major focusing on child development. Working with children has been a passion for me since I was a young teenager. I love knowing that I could make a difference in a child’s life.
Ms. Katie Being a babysitter has taught me the importance of patience as well as time-management skills and how important it is to be reliable.	Ms. Kayla B. I have 10 years experience caring for children, most notably with my own brother. I want to be a Physician's Assistant.
Ms. Kelli J. I thrive on watching each child meet personal goals and grow from their experiences.	Ms. Kelly T. I am a Social Work major at Florida State University with a teacher's heart.
Ms. Kirsten I am currently a student at Florida State, and enjoy spending time playing with children. I have been a Seminole Sitter since March 2009.	Ms. Kristy I have been babysitting for over nine years and often catered to "larger" families with 4+ children.
Ms. Marci I'm a graduate student at Florida A&M. I have worked with every age group, and enjoy watching children grow as they explore and discover the world around them.	Ms. Molli I am currently an Honors student at Florida State University double majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice.
Ms. Lisa-Marie I now work for FSU in the college of Social Work but I missed working with kids so I am back for weekend sitting! :)	Ms. Michelle Working with children has always been a big and important part of my life. I am currently attending FSU for my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with Minors in Child Development and Spanish.
Ms. Nicole I think children are fascinating and fun. I am currently majoring in Religion with Child Development as my minor.	Ms. Rachel N. I've worked in childcare at my church for years, and also spent some time coordinating and leading Children's Church. I have also regularly spent time babysitting children of all ages since I was 13 years old.
Ms. Sarah K. I've worked closely with children since I was 11 years old, as a neighborhood babysitter and full-time nanny.	Ms. Sarah M. I'm currently working towards a degree in English Education and spend at least four hours a week volunteering at a local school.
Ms. Sophia I am a student at Florida State University, majoring in Child Psychology with a minor in Child Development.	Ms. Tegan I am working towards my degree in Family and Child Sciences with a minor in Psychology. I've enjoyed working with special needs children in the past, and first babysat when I was 12 years old.
Ms. Abbie I joined the Seminole Sitters team in March 2009, and love to work with kids of all ages! I now live in Broward County, and am happy to be your sitter when you're in the area!	Ms. Amanda W. I joined the Seminole Sitters team in October 2009, and love to work with kids of all ages! I now live in Tampa, and am happy to be your sitter when you're in the area!
